Drawing on his Italian heritage, Chef Mauro Ritacca curates a menu that embodies the gastronomy of Southern Italy. Sophisticated in its simplicity, the menu features a selection of coffees and pastries, in addition to grazing plates, salads, paninis and pastas served alongside expertly paired wines and beers.
Located within Elte's showroom at 80 Ronald Avenue, the newly reimagined cafe reflects Elte's design sensibility, while offering a relaxed atmosphere to linger, forge connections and foster a sense of community.

Growing up, Mauro shared in the cherished rituals of his Italian-born parents: meticulously handcrafting fresh pasta, harvesting vegetables from the garden, hanging sausages to cure, transforming grapes into wine and tomatoes into sauce.
After two decades working in public and government relations, Mauro's unwavering passion for Italian culture and cuisine inspired him to establish Cucina Mauro Catering in 2016. The venture has grown into one of Toronto's most sought-after Italian cuisine full-service caterers. Further expanding in 2020, Chef Mauro introduced the Kitchen Café, offering elevated quick-service Italian fare that has garnered recognition from prominent Toronto media such as BlogTO and Toronto Life.
