Boborelax Chaise

Bobo, designed by Cini Boeri in 1967, is one of the first examples of a single-block bench made exclusively of polyurethane foam, without an internal frame.

Boborelax, created from Bobo, and together with it, makes up a curious and unusual family of essential furnishings, an example of pure design, without labels and adjectives.

The remaining quantities of this item are floor models. Used for display purposes only, the floor models may show signs of use but are well-maintained and treated with care.

Designer

Cini Boeri, born in Milan in 1924, was an influential Italian architect and designer that significantly shaped modern architecture and furniture design. Her innovative approach, marked by flexibility and modularity, is evident in projects such as the Bobbio Residential Building and the Arona Furniture Exhibition.

Boeri's partnership with arflex produced iconic pieces like the Strips Series and the Botolo Chair, celebrated for their groundbreaking designs. Awarded the Compasso d'Oro, Cini Boeri's legacy endures, leaving an indelible mark on the world of design with her timeless and functional creations.
