With its deeply carved gadroon apron and boldly turned baluster legs, the Walter Console Table draws on the grand furniture traditions of 16th and 17th century Europe. Set above a broad platform stretcher on bun feet, its rectangular top and two-tiered silhouette convey a formal, monumental presence. A concealed drawer integrated seamlessly into the carved apron adds a practical note without interrupting the richly ornamented facade.

The distressed two-tone finish, with its intentionally worn ebonized surface revealing warm wood beneath, gives this piece the atmospheric depth of a genuine antique.
